Unlike most Czech bands, Los Culos pursue a style that can be called “rock latino”. From covering contemporary Hispanic bands such as Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, La Vela Puerca, Bersuit Vergarabat etc., they’ve gradually developed their own songs, combining Latin beats with pure rock energy, drive and sound. And if you’re lucky enough to understand the Spanish lyrics, feel free to enjoy slightly sappy stories of sociopathic farm workers, listen how a bull sees the bullfight, or even learn to protect yourself against the deadliest beast of the southern wild, the scary slowworm. In November 2016, Los Culos launched their first album consisting exclusively of originals, Pichona y Pichón, and now they’re gearing up to record its successor. The current lineup is Roman Casado on lead vocal and guitars, Filip Štědrý on guitar and vocals, Ondřej Špaček on bass guitar, Rani Tolimat on cajón and percussions, and Igor Mokroš on drums.
